Take a trip back to the days when television still provided local programming.

Local shows provided a sense of community typified by the local television hosts of the 50's, 60's and 70's. These were the people who you not only invited into your home everyday on TV, but also met in person at supermarket openings, car shows, and just about anywhere a crowd gathered. Not always nationally known in their day, they still charmed their cities and had large fan followings.

I would like this to be a tribute to some of those local hosts from the Los Angeles area, as well as a source of information for their fans. This is my way of saying "thanks" for all the hours of enjoyment they have given to their communities over the years.

Please feel free to email me and/or sign the guestbook to share any memories.

Enjoy your trip back!
